Evans Chess club was founded on the 10th of November 2011 with a vision to promote chess in Kanniyakumari and Neighbouring districts.Ever since our establishment we have been spreading knowledge about the game of chess through coaching classes in our centres at YMCA Nagercoil,NGO Colony,Konam and various educational institutions throughout Kanyakumari District.We also conduct various tournaments yearlong to promote healthy competition between the players and to provide a platform for the young talents to exhibit their game.These tournaments equip the players to compete at high levels tournaments organized by SGFI,SDAT and AICF.Our Vision involves creating Grandmasters and International Masters from the South of Tamilnadu.
